Classic Hair Weaving

Classic Hair Weaving utilizes "wefted" hair as opposed to "loose or bulk" commercial hair used in Strand-by-Strand methods.

There are several different techniques for hair weaving, but the most popular techniques are "Basic" hair weaving and "Advanced" hair weaving. Basic hair weaving is an installation method of hair extensions that uses cornrow braiding of one's natural hair to form what is called a "row" or "track". Then the commercial human or synthetic hair, which is on a weft (sewn or hand tied together), is attached to the braided track/row with a needle and weaving cord.

Achieve these looks with Clip-in Hair Extensions!

My advanced hair weaving installation methods consist of “Flat track” weaving and “Piggyback” weaving. Flat track weaving uses hand-tied knots instead of braids to form the track/row and then the commercial hair is sewn onto the knotted track/row with a needle and weaving cord. Piggyback weaving is a braided method of installation that also utilizes wefted commercial hair and allows for extra thickness of hair but not added bulk to the track/row so it still lies as flat to the scalp as Basic hair weaving does but twice as much hair extensions. One's own natural hair left out of the weave is styled to cover where the hair weave is attached for a very natural look.

Clip-in Extensions are a very affordable alternative to Hair Weaving.
